About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and maintain the Data Governance, Automation, and AI operating model
Ensure the application of policies, processes, and best practices
Serve as the focal point connecting business areas, IT, innovation committees, and vendors
Facilitate strategic decisions and alignment
Manage the demand lifecycle, from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing and production deployment
Organize and track the initiatives backlog, considering value, feasibility, risks, effort, and priorities
Monitor vendors and deliverables, ensuring deadlines, quality, and alignment with objectives
Support data quality, data catalog, metadata, classification, and master data practices
Monitor KPIs and track initiatives in production
Propose continuous improvements
Ensure compliance with Information Security guidelines and Brazil’s LGPD data protection law

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Data, or a related field
Solid experience in Data Governance, including the implementation and operationalization of governance policies, processes, and models
Experience managing demands and IT, Data, or Automation projects, working at the interface between technical and business teams
Experience with Automation and Artificial Intelligence initiatives, with an understanding of implementation, support, and value generation
Knowledge of requirements gathering, functional documentation, backlog management, and prioritization
Experience engaging with stakeholders, committees, and vendors
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and continuous improvement
Experience with data platforms and Lakehouse architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) is a plus
Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and cloud platforms, preferably Azure, is a plus
Experience with process automation (RPA) and familiarity with AI assistants and agents is a plus
Experience with master data, metadata, data catalog, and data quality governance is a plus
Knowledge of Information Security and Brazil’s LGPD is a plus
Experience in regulated environments within the electric power sector, with knowledge of ANEEL, ONS, and R&D programs, is a plus
