About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead pre-deal financial analytics by building right-to-win screens and unit economics models at the brand and SKU level
  • Size ramps and break-even points while flagging operational constraints and SLA risks
  • Drive assortment expansion decisions by identifying highest-ROI SKUs
  • Model sell-through, cost-to-serve, and variable retail profit across fulfillment paths and phased launch scenarios
  • Own and scale the quote engine
  • Design auditable cost-to-serve models that translate brand scope into standardized, automated quotes using SQL and Power BI
  • Produce CRM-ready outputs with clear approval guardrails
  • Compare quoted economics to actuals post-launch and identify variance drivers
  • Improve deal models, playbooks, and exception policies
  • Provide pipeline and capacity visibility
  • Partner with Business Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Outbound to surface risks and unblock execution
  • Report directly to the Head of Marketplace Fulfillment Finance
  • Shape strategy, influence investments, drive profitable growth, and inform executive decisions
  • Own complex analyses, forecasting, and financial models for fast-moving initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategy, or operations analytics within eCommerce, marketplace, or fulfillment-adjacent environments
  • Strong track record of influencing business decisions
  • Expert-level SQL and Excel
  • Strong Power BI capabilities, including data modeling and DAX
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Hands-on experience developing quoting frameworks, cost-to-serve engines, and operational guardrails
  • Exceptional communication and business partnering skills
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear narratives and drive alignment across senior stakeholders
  • Ability to perform under tight timelines
  • Owner’s mindset, accountability, humility, and resilience
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
