About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, create and secure strategic multi-year corporate partnerships across a range of sectors
  • Lead the full sales cycle for prospect approaches, including generating leads, building networks and securing new corporate partnerships
  • Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams across Action for Children on partnership development
  • Deliver increased brand visibility and significant new income through partnership types exceeding £200,000 each
  • Travel regularly to London and other UK locations for team collaboration, meetings, events and partnership development activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in commercial partnerships, cause-related marketing, brand partnerships or sponsorship
  • Experience of developing corporate-charity partnerships
  • Experience of securing partnerships involving sales promotions and employee fundraising
  • Experience of building relationships with high-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically when prospecting, using a solution-focused approach
  • Willingness to work flexibly and travel the UK when necessary
  • Line management experience is advantageous but not necessary
  • Must be based in the UK
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role
  • DBS Basic vetting level required
