About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A PhD (or equivalent) in polymer chemistry with a focus on polymer synthesis, polymer materials or polymer processing
  • Some postdoctoral research experience is preferred but not essential
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of polymer chemistry
  • Thorough understanding of recent trends and developments in the field
  • Passion for science and thirst to learn more
  • Breadth of interest in scientific research within and beyond speciality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Ability to read and assess the novelty, context and implications of submitted research across different areas of the discipline
  • Eagerness to travel and meet scientists worldwide
  • Editorial experience is not required; significant editorial experience is encouraged for Senior Editor consideration
