Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A PhD (or equivalent) in a field related to materials chemistry
  • Background potentially including materials synthesis, characterization and applications
  • Experience in sustainable chemistry, particularly materials chemistry or sustainable materials
  • Sustainable materials chemistry or materials for environmental applications advantageous
  • Additional research experience valuable but not necessary
  • Thorough understanding of recent trends and developments in the field
  • Passion for science and demonstrated breadth of interest in scientific research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Ability to read and assess the novelty, context and implications of submitted research across the discipline
  • Eagerness to travel and meet scientists worldwide
  • CV detailing education, employment history, published scientific papers and relevant achievements
  • Cover letter explaining interest, relevant experience, preferred office location, salary expectations and current notice period
