About the role

  • Develop and deliver state-of-the-art technical assistance addressing education and human services priorities
  • Conduct needs assessments and strategic planning

  • Establish and maintain data governance structures and processes
  • Facilitate data linking and promote advanced data use
  • Lead moderately complex data collection and analysis tasks and develop summary reports
  • Develop research designs using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Analyze state- and federal-level administrative data
  • Use data visualization techniques to communicate results
  • Establish and meet project timelines within budget constraints

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ph.D. in Education, Psychology, human services, public policy administration, or another social science field (e.g., social work) with a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree and 6 years of related TA and research experience preferred
  • Experience leading successful projects and proposals for state and/or federal agencies, foundations, or commercial clients
  • Ability to lead tasks on large projects
  • Ability to contribute independent recommendations related to project activities
  • Ability to adapt to changes in client priorities
  • Comfort with technology
  • Ability to complete assigned work with minimal supervision
  • Experience providing technical assistance around evaluation and data collection through the data lifecycle
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and work with many team members
  • Experience working with marginalized and multilingual populations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates receiving a conditional offer must undergo a background check
