About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead teams supporting fund administration services to clients
  • Serve as primary liaison for the book of business and work with auditors, law firms, and tax advisors
  • Review fund governing, offering, subscription, and related investment documents to ensure proper application of fund terms
  • Review transaction documentation, supporting files, investment transactions, and accruals
  • Review work papers for capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments, and related items
  • Review management fee calculations, investor allocations, and capital account statements
  • Review capital call and distribution calculations, sources and uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices
  • Create, maintain, and review distribution waterfall and carried-interest models
  • Manage year-end audit processes with clients and auditors
  • Implement processes to improve overall operations
  • Participate in new client business analysis with prospects and existing clients
  • Support fee models and deal financial analysis development
  • Support presentation content and preparation
  • Assist with RFP responses and document management
  • Support multiple client implementations and onboarding events
  • Promote corporate and business/departmental initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years’ experience supervising, training, delegating tasks, and managing large teams
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting, with an emphasis on investment partnerships
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting
  • Direct responsibility for hiring and termination decisions and providing continuous performance feedback to staff
  • Deadline oriented with ability to complete assigned tasks independently
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Hands-on management style with strong leadership skills and ability to develop staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with peers, as part of a team, and independently
