About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Investor Services professionals
- Oversee day-to-day Investor Services operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to service level agreements
- Serve as primary point of contact for key investor relationships
- Manage investor onboarding, including KYC/AML due diligence, subscription document review, and system setup
- Supervise preparation and distribution of investor statements, capital calls, distributions, and ad-hoc reporting
- Resolve investor inquiries in collaboration with fund accounting, legal, and compliance teams
- Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics and implement corrective actions
- Participate in client pitches and due diligence meetings
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve data integrity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in investor services, client services, or fund operations within the alternative investments industry
- 5+ years of leadership experience or management role
- Deep understanding of alternative investment fund structures, operations, and regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC, FATCA, and CRS
- Strong knowledge of investor reporting requirements and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with fund administration software such as Geneva, Advent, and Yardi
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hybrid work arrangement
- Master degree with 8 years industry experience or CFA is a plus
