About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 20+ fund accountants
Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly SLAs are met
Oversee booking of daily journal entries
Oversee management fee calculations and accrued expense reimbursement calculations
Oversee valuation of investments
Oversee financial and investor report preparation and ad hoc reporting
Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are maintained
Ensure financial transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP
Implement and design controls to deliver quality work
Review and test control processes regularly
Prepare MIS reports for onshore and offshore management teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in end-to-end private equity fund accounting
Experience with financial statements, NAV calculations, waterfall and IRR calculations, capital calls, and distributions
People management experience
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 20+ fund accountants
Knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Knowledge of US GAAP
Ability to implement and design controls
Ability to review and test control processes
Ability to prepare MIS reports for onshore and offshore management teams
