About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product strategy and roadmap for new outsourced operations and technology services for asset managers
- Interview clients, research competitors, identify service gaps, and define differentiation opportunities
- Design offerings end-to-end, including operating models, service specifications, business requirements, and capability investment cases
- Set pricing, service tiers, commercialization plans, and business cases for investment
- Drive products from concept to launch with Technology and Operations
- Turn requirements into scalable, automated services
- Support sales efforts, client presentations, strategic pursuits, and RFPs as the product expert
- Gather client and prospect feedback and feed it into the roadmap
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Technology, Sales, Relationship Management, and Executive Leadership
- Act as subject-matter expert on outsourced investment operations, operating models, and the competitive landscape
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive product management experience building and commercializing B2B products or services
- Experience ideally in asset servicing, FinTech, or outsourced operations for asset managers
- Experience taking offerings from concept to market
- Strong fluency in investment operations across Mutual Funds, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), and related vehicles
- Deep, hands-on operations experience is a strong plus
- Track record of creating new products, services, or capabilities from the ground up and delivering measurable commercial results
- Experience with pricing, value proposition, and business-case development
- Self-starter, get-it-done mentality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- 12+ years of hands-on investment operations experience
- Experience across both large global and smaller/boutique asset managers and familiarity with global operating environments is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree or relevant industry certifications are a plus
