About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance investor services offerings and operational processes
- Manage and mentor a team of investor services professionals
- Oversee end-to-end investor onboarding, capital call, distribution, transfer, and redemption processes
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of investor services operations
- Act as a primary point of contact for key client relationships
- Address complex client inquiries and ensure high client satisfaction
- Collaborate with fund accounting, legal, compliance, and technology teams
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify improvement areas and implement solutions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Lead and participate in client presentations, due diligence meetings, and other client-facing activities
- Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes
- Drive operational efficiencies through process automation and technology utilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in investor services within the financial services industry
- Preferably experience focused on alternative investments, such as private equity or hedge funds
- Proven leadership experience, including managing large teams and developing talent
- Extensive knowledge of investor services operations, including AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and other relevant regulations
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with industry-standard investor services software and platforms
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of fund structures, legal documents, and financial reporting
