About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set the vision and direction for a large, multi-functional Private Markets organization
- Shape and execute a forward-looking operating model
- Own and drive the success of the Private Markets business across product strategy, fund accounting and administration, capital accounts, middle office, investment accounting, regulatory reporting, and performance analytics
- Deliver business objectives including P&L and profitability, talent and location strategy, and client satisfaction
- Act as a product champion to evolve offerings according to market and client needs
- Partner with sales and marketing to accelerate growth and support business development
- Use industry, competitive, and technology insights to inform strategic decisions and drive long-term value creation
- Communicate strategy, performance, and results to executives and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or related discipline
- 10+ years relevant experience working for a financial institution and/or fund administrator
- 5+ years of prior management/supervisory experience
- Substantive knowledge of middle office operations
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership building high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
- Ability to communicate financial and securities concepts to a range of audiences
- Strong focus on accuracy and controls
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight client deadlines
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion in a deadline-driven environment
- CPA/CFA or MBA preferred
