About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the engineering team and manage new and existing Nacelle and Engine Build Up programs
  • Provide leadership and coordination of the engineering team assigned to programs
  • Support new designs and improve existing designs
  • Support internal investigations of field issues
  • Determine whether design changes can relieve supply chain challenges
  • Interface with customers and internal senior staff
  • Develop and manage cross-functional product-focused programs
  • Manage projects and interface with partners, contractors, suppliers, customers, and internal functions
  • Manage program resource and budget allocation/integration
  • Serve as engineering lead and focal point for the program
  • Plan and execute Engineering deliverables supporting qualification, certification, and production of Nacelle hardware
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate priorities and executable plans for domestic and global teams
  • Support monthly Engineering Operations reviews with variance assessments, corrective actions, updated forecasts, key risks/abatements, and identified support needs
  • Manage an integrated master schedule with team inputs and assess multiple critical paths
  • Develop action plans to respond to issues and problems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering work experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization
  • Must provide valid proof of U.S. Person status or authorization if hired
  • Background check and drug screening are mandatory conditions for employment
  • Experience in leading technical programs in the Aerospace industry
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem solver and clear thinker
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
