About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, write and maintain infrastructure as code for Azure environments using Terraform and/or Bicep
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Build reusable modules and set naming, tagging and environment standards
Manage networking, identity, RBAC and Key Vault configuration in code
Enforce governance with Azure Policy and fix configuration drift
Document the infrastructure and work closely with the client's internal team

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years hands-on in Azure
Proven experience writing production Terraform or Bicep for Azure
Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
Working knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) and Entra ID / RBAC
Able to commit to about 25 hours a week during business hours (Eastern time)
Eligible to work in the US on a 1099 basis
Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-400 (nice to have)
HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification (nice to have)
Experience in financial services, payments or other regulated environments (nice to have)
Prior consulting or fractional contract experience (nice to have)
Bilingual English and Spanish (nice to have)
