Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking)
  • Support integration and data movement between GCP and Teradata systems
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor cloud performance, cost, and security compliance
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and data pipeline issues
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams on modernization work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of hands on GCP experience
  • Direct Teradata experience, ETL or data warehouse integration
  • IaC and CI/CD tooling experience
  • Strong Python or Bash scripting
  • GCP certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) preferred
  • State or local government client experience preferred
  • Experience migrating off Teradata to a cloud native warehouse (e.g. BigQuery) preferred
