About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build relationships with outsourcing clients and own a book of business and clients
Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assistance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card imports, and consultant invoice management
Provide month-end closing services, including reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and loan accounting
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assist clients throughout the complete project cycle, including project entry, billing, and project-related reporting
Reconcile financial discrepancies by researching and analyzing accounting data
Identify root causes and propose solutions for client and firm issues
Participate in onboarding new CAS clients
Improve client and firm processes and profitability and communicate suggestions
Act as a trusted advisor while meeting service standards
Maintain a professional demeanor in client interactions
Provide guidance to teammates and support team success
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to complete tasks
Manage client projects with minimal oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint Billing
Knowledge of the entire accounting cycle from data entry to compilation of financial statements
3+ years of experience in full cycle Accounting at or above a staff accountant level
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Experience at an Architecture, Engineering or Construction firm
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in appropriate manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and practice areas within the organization
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Willingness to learn new things
Experience working in a fully remote environment
