About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct research for current and prospective donors while maintaining data integrity in the database
  • Keep database information accurate, current, and up-to-date
  • Prepare donation acknowledgements, letters, and donor reports
  • Support the Major Gifts Officer and Director of Donor Engagement with fundraising events, donor journeys, and other projects
  • Develop creative materials for potential and existing donors
  • Report directly to the Donor Operations Manager
  • Work closely with other departments to support Atlas Network’s fundraising efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eligible candidates must be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program
  • Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and other programs in Google Suite
  • Experience with CRM databases like Salesforce is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrates initiative and motivation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor, in person, on the phone or via email
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks across multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision
  • Data and deadline driven, with attention to detail
  • Interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues
  • A positive attitude
  • Preference to applicants who can regularly be in the Arlington, Virginia office
