About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and repair a range of high-profile escalator systems across key rail and underground sites
Service, maintain, and repair escalators and moving walkways across major rail and underground sites
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers
Work on KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care
Perform effective risk assessments
Maintain site log cards during every visit
Work across the Scotland Central Belt patch in safety-critical transport infrastructure environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ 3 with great technical expertise
Proven experience in maintenance and minor repair of electrical, mechanical, or electronic equipment in the customer’s environment
Experience using computers or PDAs
Ability to use a mobile communications unit to log calls and access customer and equipment information
Comprehensive escalator engineering background, including NVQ 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
Appropriate right to work must be held
