Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Current auto insurance meeting state requirements
  • Ability to pass a background check (not all records are disqualifying)
  • Comfortable supporting personal care needs
  • Preferred: Experience in caregiving, DSP, behavioral support, or IDD roles
  • Preferred: Experience supporting individuals with I/DD
  • Preferred: Strong communication and boundary-setting skills
  • Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification
