About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver operational support for SBHG’s responsible and scalable use of artificial intelligence
- Sustain the governance framework for safe, compliant AI deployment across the organization
- Coordinate AI intake and inventory tracking
- Maintain governance documentation, risk and approval follow-ups, vendor and regulatory records
- Support project planning, training, ongoing tool monitoring, reporting, dashboards, AI workflows, and issue escalations
- Partner with Clinical, Operations, QA, Compliance, HR, IT/Security, EMR, Business Analytics, Finance, and other departments
- Facilitate efficient reviews, decisions, implementation conditions, and project milestones
- Report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Informatics and AI
- Travel to satellite and other locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, healthcare administration, public health, behavioral health, compliance, risk management, data/analytics, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in AI governance, technology risk, compliance, data governance, privacy, healthcare informatics, or a related governance function
- Hands-on experience supporting AI governance or responsible AI implementation
- Demonstrated project management leadership experience, including project planning, timeline management, deliverables tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue monitoring, and implementation follow-through
- Proficiency in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering staff training, implementation guidance, job aids, and other learning resources
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or other regulated healthcare environments preferred
- Familiarity with business analytics, enterprise data environments/data lakes, information management, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Required Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or comparable privacy certification preferred
- California residence preferred
- Must work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
- Travel to satellite and other locations is required
