Psychotropic CPS Case Aide

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in gathering health records for children in Department custody
- Review health records, child welfare reports, and Health Info Net
- Perform data entry, analysis, and uploading to the electronic information system
- Track and report health records and gathered information
- Communicate and collaborate with medical office personnel and child welfare staff
- Assist with tracking, documenting, and electronic filing of informed consent forms
- Track and respond to psychotropic medication review requests
- Assist, inform, and interact with OCFS staff, resource parents, and medical providers
- Perform other assigned tasks, projects, and duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Training, education, or experience in office and client support work
- Proficient knowledge of principles and practices for assisting management with policies and procedures
- Ability to use independent judgment, initiative, and decision-making on complex administrative and direct service activities
- Valid Class C Maine Motor Vehicle Operator's License
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Prior experience with medical records or work in the medical or mental health field preferred
- Proficiency with standard workplace applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Resume and cover letter addressing the two competency areas
- Documents must be submitted in PDF or Word format
- Currently not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions
