About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Salesforce Team with programming, design, system administration, platform development, and related duties
- Use Salesforce objects, workflows, Apex, validation rules, and similar technologies on a Salesforce cloud platform
- Improve Division operations and efficiencies through Information Technology and Salesforce
- Complete routine procedures including sprints, scrums, and time reporting according to set schedules
- Investigate Division operations, workflows, staffing, and business processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, an IT-related field, or related technical degree and two years of experience in business application consulting or development; OR associate degree in computer science or an IT-related field and three years of experience in application consulting or development; OR high school or GED diploma and six years of experience in business application consulting or development; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with business application consulting or development as required by the education/experience alternatives
- Degree or transcripts must be from an appropriately accredited college or university when applicable
- International degrees and transcripts must be evaluated for accreditation by a recognized evaluation service by the closing date
- Ability to complete routine procedures including sprints, scrums, and time reporting according to set schedules
- Work history and education, including accurate dates of employment/attendance, must be documented on the application
- Applicants seeking Veteran's Preference must attach a DD-214 form
- Current North Carolina National Guard members seeking preference must attach an NGB 23A (RPAS)
- Former North Carolina National Guard members seeking preference must attach a DD256 or NGB 22
- Selected applicants for positions subject to PREA will undergo a PREA-specific background check
- Ability to work 100% in person for at least the first 90 days
- Salesforce programming, design, system administration, platform development, objects, workflows, Apex, and validation rules are management preferences/knowledge areas
