About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a central communication and monitoring point between State Street, External Managers and Alpha clients
Monitor inbound External Manager Transaction Error Queues
Provide External Manager Reconciliation Oversight
Capture and prepare External Manager-related MIS
Oversee daily reconciliation between CRIMS and State Street’s middle office IBOR record on cash, stock position and transaction levels
Take ownership of issues through resolution and engage teams to correct IBOR and CRIMS data
Act as primary contact for clients’ Front Office teams, triage issues and ensure resolution
Provide technical support for front office systems using CRIMS
Maintain and develop State Street’s SQL-based data warehouse
Support client queries on complex data set issues across Middle Office platforms
Ensure accounting period close and reopening processes are followed
Monitor overall health of client portfolios through the operational control framework
Support client operations teams with operational client queries as IBOR subject matter expert
Project manage client onboarding from receipt through Hypercare
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
Analyze current and proposed processes, recommend improvements, and drive implementation of Operating Models, SLAs and KPIs
Identify data or account trends for group meetings
Interact with Middle Office teams including Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading and Performance
Maintain familiarity with backup procedures for system or transmission problems
Build professional internal and external relationships to achieve group and client goals
Interact with clients during implementations and business as usual
Provide management information for business unit decision-making
Support the Risk Excellence culture and follow delegation, escalation, internal policy and regulatory procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree and minimum 1+ years asset management operational experience
Knowledge of order management systems, ideally CRD but not a must-have
Excellent analytical skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
SQL, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Self-motivated, adaptable and able to show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure
Flexible working hours may be required
Knowledge of additional European languages like German or Dutch will be considered a plus
