About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with full-time staff on Business As Usual activities of the Specialized Accounting team
  • Manage accounting for Non-Hedging FX Derivatives, Loans, Repo / Reverse Repo
  • Support the monthly financial close process for specified products
  • Support SEC and REG reporting
  • Contribute to process re-engineering, standardization, and automation efforts
  • Contribute to process design, development, and implementation of complex improvement projects
  • Help streamline processes, reduce manual touch points, and enhance controls
  • Drive change across Global Accounting Operations teams and support delivery of GAO strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong technological and basic accounting skills
  • Prior coursework or experience with programming and BI tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Medium levels of Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and workbook maintenance best practices
  • Knowledge of Spotfire, Tableau, data analytics, Macros, and visualization (or similar) is preferred
  • Preferred education background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured, team-based environment and independently
  • Professionalism, dependability, and trustworthiness
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a drive for success
  • Ability to identify problems and explore solutions
