About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage planning, assessment, testing, and reporting phases of technology audits and technology risk-focused validation activities
  • Collaborate with global peers on resiliency, data, emerging technology, cyber, third-party risk management, and business audits
  • Maintain knowledge of technology risks and regulatory environment changes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Global Technology Services
  • Communicate audit progress, findings, and recommendations to senior management
  • Prepare and review audit work papers for compliance with the division's audit methodology
  • Work with State Street's technology organization
  • Report functionally to a Vice President of Technology Audit

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience auditing information technologies, security, or cyber risk management
  • Audit or assurance experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
  • Experience evaluating technology risks and testing internal controls using risk-based testing approaches
  • Expertise in developing and implementing effective audit testing strategies
  • Strong understanding of banking regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of technology risk management, trends, tools, and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of networks, middleware, operating systems, change management, SDLC, cloud technologies, and horizontal IT and infrastructure platforms
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, technical writing, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CIA are highly preferred
  • May require travel up to 10% of the year
