About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in a leadership role on client-facing Alpha implementation programmes
- Oversee and manage significant elements or phases of client implementation programmes
- Plan and proactively monitor progress, resolve issues and initiate corrective action
- Support the Client Implementation Executive in ensuring timely programme delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams across Alpha, CRD, SSCD, Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Testing and external client stakeholders
- Drive Target Operating Model discussions across front, middle and back office functions
- Champion continuous improvement, automation and AI-driven initiatives
- Communicate guidance and decisions from oversight and leadership groups to programme and product owners
- Drive programme governance, including executive steering committees, migration committees, risk forums and senior stakeholder updates
- Make decisions and recommendations to manage successful programme delivery
- Monitor expenditure costs against delivered and realised benefits
- Provide solution insights and develop in-depth knowledge of assigned projects or products
- Support capturing business requirements and reaching agreement on Target Operating Models
- Support programme risk management and change control
- Ensure new capabilities or services are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage dependencies, reporting and interfaces between dependent initiatives
- Report programme progress to internal and external steering committees
- Agree contract structures and schedules with Legal and product owners
- Define business owners and recommend input to service schedules
- Define migration/transition schedules, assumptions, phasing, sequencing, developments, timing and dependencies
- Hold business SMEs accountable for discussions with Legal and clients
- Provide implementation, operational readiness and transition expertise during solution design and contractual discussions
- Assess delivery, operational and implementation risks arising from contractual commitments and engage stakeholders to mitigate impacts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Project/Program management candidate with in-depth experience of the full lifecycle of complex Front to Back technology and services projects
- Ability to lead and collaborate across State Street and Charles River products and services
- Ability to lead client-facing Alpha implementation programmes
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-location projects across multiple business lines and corporate functions
- Leadership ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines
- Willingness to drive resolutions and own outcomes
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and relationship management skills

- Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry
