About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand business requirements and design/create/modify dataflows
Work extensively on Oracle and data warehousing concepts
Work on a new platform involving Azure and Snowflake
Tune database objects with performance issues
Handle production releases once a month
Participate in an Agile team and develop dataflows using Snowflake and Oracle PL/SQL
Help deliver technology solutions supporting State Street’s digital transformation and financial services business

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–9 years' experience in Data Modelling, Oracle PL/SQL, advanced database techniques and Snowflake
Proficient in performance tuning
Well versed in reading execution plans, creating proper indexes and using hints
Proficient working knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle DB, PL/SQL and Performance Tuning
Well versed with data warehousing concepts
Knowledge in financial domain
Basic knowledge of shell scripting and Unix
Good in using TOAD/SQL Developer
Bachelor of Engineering degree in any discipline is a must
10–15 years of experience in IT field
Certifications on Oracle, Azure and Snowflake are preferred
Knowledge in Microsoft Azure is a plus
