About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions such as dividends, splits, mergers, rights, tenders, and redemptions
  • Interpret corporate action announcements from vendors, custodians, and issuers
  • Determine correct processing and accounting treatment
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of corporate action events in accounting and Gold Copy systems
  • Reconcile positions, cash, and entitlements
  • Investigate and resolve breaks within agreed SLAs
  • Monitor the complete lifecycle of events from announcement through payment and closure
  • Coordinate with Custody, Fund Accounting, Client Service, and Technology teams
  • Respond to client and internal queries related to corporate action processing and financial impacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Two to four years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions or investment operations
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end corporate action processing and global market practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with strong risk awareness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and corporate action processing systems
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned events and deliverables
  • Proactively escalates issues and collaborates effectively with stakeholders
  • Adapts to changing volumes, priorities, and market practices
