About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support clients post-go-live during Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) implementations
- Define client requirements, configure and tune applications to business and technical needs
- Train users, test workflows, and resolve issues
- Coordinate and manage customer-reported support issues
- Provide consultative guidance on customers’ system use, requirements, and workflows
- Analyze and evaluate requirements and provide product expertise throughout the post-go-live journey
- Assist with project management for service management and small projects
- Educate customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionality
- Advise on best practices for implementing and operating Charles River solutions and services
- Monitor customer requirements and identify potential product enhancements
- Document and communicate product improvements based on customer requirements and marketplace trends
- Communicate software defects to Client Support and Product Management
- Support defect resolution by documenting defects and validating fixes
- Identify and suggest corrections to documentation errors
- Provide informal customer-specific training to end users
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must have Front-Office Trading / Buy-Side experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the financial industry with a consultancy or software vendor
- Experience implementing or supporting Front, Middle, or Back Office Investment Management systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing and/or supporting mission-critical financial solutions
- Experience with financial systems within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system
- Substantive knowledge of fixed income or equity financial instruments
- Understanding of investment management or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and FX instruments
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures
- Familiarity with SQL, FIX, and reporting tools
- Strong customer service, communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Four-year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Ability to work on premise at client sites up to 50%
- Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada
- Ability to work effectively when remote from clients
