Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the global FPS Operations organization of approximately 250 professionals across regions
Ensure consistent delivery, strong governance, and a risk-excellent operating culture
Drive transformation and modernization with technology, business, and risk teams
Develop scalable, automated, future-state processes
Strengthen controls, improve resiliency, reduce operational risk, and protect the firm from financial or reputational harm
Deliver post-trade operational support, including confirmations, settlement, clearing, and data management
Oversee vendors and third-party relationships, including cyber-risk management
Optimize the operating model and cost base for scalability, efficiency, growth, and global consistency
Attract, develop, and retain talent while building an inclusive global team and succession planning
Lead regulatory, governance, and corporate initiatives, including Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, and Model Risk
Represent Markets on corporate steering committees
Collaborate with Investment Services Global Delivery, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Human Resources
Report directly to the Global Head of Markets and Treasury Operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

20+ years of experience in capital markets, ideally across operations, risk, finance or related functions
Proven track record leading large, global teams and building high-performing organizations
Deep expertise across financing and portfolio solutions operations, including securities lending, prime services, secured financing/repo, collateral management, liquidity solutions, and associated post-trade operating models
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transformation and change initiatives in complex organizations
Strong commercial judgment, strategic problem-solving skills and ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
Attention to detail with ability to critically assess problems and propose solutions
Inspiring and inclusive leadership
Strategic thinking and change leadership
Strong client and execution mindset
Exceptional problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
Commitment to risk excellence, operational discipline and sound decision-making
