About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Capture, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Translate legal workflows and security processes into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Create current-state and future-state process flow diagrams using Visio or similar tools
  • Develop and maintain BRDs, FSDs, test plans, test cases, and UAT documentation
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Coordinate testing cycles, defect tracking, and release validation
  • Analyze and resolve functional and data-related issues across systems
  • Support integration across Legal Operations, Governance, and Global Security/Access platforms
  • Develop and maintain data mapping documents and source-to-target transformation rules
  • Validate and reconcile data using SQL, JSON, and XML
  • Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and consistency across integrated platforms
  • Troubleshoot data integration and interface issues
  • Plan and coordinate cross-functional Legal and Security initiatives
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
  • Facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendor partners
  • Provide status reporting, risk escalation, and executive-level updates
  • Ensure solutions align with legal, regulatory, and security standards
  • Support audit readiness through documentation and traceability
  • Maintain process and data governance practices
  • Partner with compliance and security teams on control and risk requirements
  • Act as primary liaison for Legal and Security application needs
  • Communicate complex requirements to technical and business audiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Application Delivery, or Product Ownership
  • Experience with Legal Matter Management and Spend Management
  • Experience with eDiscovery and Records Management, including Litigations, Investigations, and Legal Holds
  • Experience with Governance, Board Management, and GRC
  • Experience with Security and Access Management, including Access Monitoring, Identity Management, and Device Monitoring
  • Strong experience with process modeling tools such as Visio or equivalent
  • Experience with test management, including test plans, test cases, and UAT coordination
  • Experience with data mapping and data analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and JSON/XML data formats
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Preferred: Experience in Legal, Compliance, or Financial Services environments
  • Preferred: Familiarity with legal data constructs, security workflows, data visualization tools, data governance, audit/compliance frameworks, ServiceNow, and Change Management
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with IAM, CyberArk, SIEM platforms such as Splunk/Datadog, and AI/ML use cases in legal
