Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain trading and post-trading solutions
Work as an individual contributor and provide technical leadership for a highly technical product delivery team
Develop and support enterprise applications
Drive integration, native cloud development, reporting and analytics, CI/CD implementation, test automation and application support
Own architecture, design, development, testing and support activities
Coordinate effectively with multiple global stakeholders
Analyze, design, estimate and develop software applications according to project schedules
Develop and maintain end-to-end enterprise applications with product and development teams across geographies
Lead technology teams with varied technology and functional delivery
Own end-to-end build, change and support responsibility and accountability
Retain accountability for overall delivery
Analyze, design, estimate, develop and support software programs
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a change leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
15–18 years of related technology and domain experience
Technology degree from a reputed Engineering college
Strong Core Java and database skills
Extensive experience with performance-critical, low-latency, high-throughput, multithreaded, event-driven Core Java systems
Enterprise software development and support experience
Knowledge of the trade life cycle; FX trade knowledge preferred
Experience with FX or equity eTrading platforms is a plus
Strong Java, J2EE, web services, database design and modeling skills
Experience with Spring, Oracle, Kafka/MQ/JMS, Hibernate, SQL and PL/SQL
Client-side development experience with JavaScript, React.js, AngularJS, jQuery and CSS
Experience designing JMS/MOM systems such as RabbitMQ, SonicMQ or ActiveMQ
Working knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, secure coding and web security
Test-driven development using JUnit, Mockito or other mocking frameworks
Strong Agile and CI/CD experience
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Experience with Jenkins and container technologies
Experience with WebSphere or Tomcat
Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL database development, SQL, PL/SQL and Hibernate or iBATIS
Knowledge of Java 1.8, functional programming, RxJava and lambda expressions
Technical team management and leadership experience
Experience managing diversified teams across multiple locations or regions and/or distributed workforces
Knowledge of FIX, SWIFT and other financial integration protocols is a plus
GCC experience preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, relationship-building and leadership abilities
