About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with front, middle, and back office businesses
Understand customer needs versus current capabilities and recommend solutions for development and implementation
Support business planning and management within the State Street Product organization
Commercialize products and services, including pricing, value proposition articulation, and sales support
Produce end-to-end solutions across front, middle, and back offices
Drive penetration into bank segments including asset managers, insurance, asset owners, alternatives, and markets
Articulate the vision, design solutions, and assist with implementation
Write and present business cases supported by financial and ROI analysis
Understand macro growth drivers in financial markets and apply them to recommendations
Understand the competitive landscape and identify differentiation opportunities
Partner with the broader product organization, delivery teams, and client coverage teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive asset management operational experience at an investment manager and/or service provider across multiple disciplines
Understanding of State Street architecture and operating model
Experience integrating new products and/or systems
Ability to lead others without hierarchical connection
Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Ability to work across multiple geographies
Strategic mindset and ability to collaborate
Ability to articulate a vision and roadmap and communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including front, middle, and back office functions
15+ years of operational and/or technical experience working across leading front, middle, and back office systems
Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness and ability to travel
