About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop reports using IRD and visualizations using Manage Card Designer (MCD)
Analyze large-scale datasets and contribute to data modelling and data mart design
Implement reporting and visualization solutions using BI suites such as Jasper, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
Apply SQL for data analysis, query optimization, and validation
Collaborate with data sourcing teams and product stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with business logic
Act as a subject matter expert for IRD, supporting ad-hoc report creation and issue resolution
Stay current with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, Data Bricks, Snowflake, and EDW
Lead creation of reports for State Street’s Investment Services clients
Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and reports
Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver reporting solutions on time

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in BI tools such as JasperReports, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehouse environments
Knowledge of data governance and data quality techniques
Familiarity with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, Snowflake, and Databricks
Understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment operations and trade lifecycle
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs on time
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years of experience in data analysis, dashboard design, and business intelligence
Experience with financial reporting, data warehousing, and BI tool architecture
Familiarity with SDLC or Agile methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
