About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental and quantitative research on assigned equity sectors
  • Monitor financial markets, macroeconomic developments, sector fundamentals, ETF flows, investor positioning, and the competitive ETF landscape
  • Build, maintain, and improve research models, databases, dashboards, and analytical workflows using Excel, AI tools, and other technologies
  • Develop research, market commentary, presentations, and educational materials communicating sector insights
  • Develop expertise in sector ETF products and investment strategies, including exposures, use cases, and options-based approaches
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Distribution, and Investment teams on ETF positioning, client communication, marketing initiatives, and product opportunities
  • Own assigned projects and recurring deliverables, balance priorities, meet deadlines, and complete work accurately

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment research, asset management, equity analysis, ETF research, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including organizing and analyzing large datasets and building and maintaining monitors/dashboards
  • Experience using AI tools to improve investment research and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of equity fundamentals and macroeconomic dynamics
  • Working knowledge of equity markets, portfolio construction, and derivatives or options-based investment strategies
  • Experience conducting fundamental or quantitative investment research and presenting findings in written or verbal form
  • Ability to obtain required securities licenses, including Series 7 and Series 63, within six months of joining
  • Clear and concise writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently
  • Creativity, sound judgment, initiative, and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
