About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
  • Develop automated test suites covering functional, regression, API, and end-to-end scenarios
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions
  • Perform test planning, execution, and defect tracking activities
  • Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab for automation integration
  • Validate data integrity through database testing using SQL queries
  • Execute tests in Unix/Linux environments and support deployment validations
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–12 years of experience in QA automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and other automation tools
  • Java programming
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and BDD/Cucumber (preferred)
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Strong SQL expertise (mandatory)
  • OOP principles
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Design patterns for automation frameworks
  • Experience with database testing using SQL
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environments
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ALM
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
