About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a Wealth subject-matter expert in wealth management implementation and upgrade projects
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements while providing product expertise and guidance throughout projects
  • Ensure solutions meet client business needs and clients are prepared to operate solutions after go-live
  • Assist Professional Services team members and develop and share best practices
  • Analyze client requirements for sales opportunities
  • Contribute to sales presentations and proof-of-concept projects demonstrating CRIMS capabilities
  • Educate clients on CRIMS functionality
  • Advise on best practices for implementing and operating Charles River solutions and services
  • Identify potential enhancements to Charles River solutions and services
  • Document and communicate product improvements
  • Communicate defects to Technical Support and Product Management
  • Support defect resolution by describing defects and validating fixes
  • Identify documentation errors and suggest corrections and improvements
  • Build effective client relationships, manage difficult situations, influence decision-makers, mentor less-experienced colleagues, and contribute to the Best Practices library

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 plus years' experience supporting or implementing wealth management solutions within a wealth management firm or a software provider
  • Experience with managed account (SMA/UMA) programs, mutual fund wrap programs, Rep as PM, and Rep as Advisor programs is especially valuable
  • Strong knowledge of wealth management industry practices
  • Experience with asset allocation, model management, portfolio construction, model-based portfolios, drift monitoring, tax optimization, pre-trade compliance, rebalancing, and trading workflows
  • Basic command of SQL and understanding of relational databases
  • Familiarity with FIX or similar protocols is a plus
  • Strong record of client service
  • Ability to work within a team environment and provide high-quality service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis ability
  • Strong time management skills, including managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Four (4) year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada
  • Ability to work effectively when remote from clients
