About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support data operations and ensure data is delivered to clients on time, accurately, and within scope
Become a process/platform subject-matter expert
Conduct root-cause analysis of data issues
Act as the point of contact for questions, queries, and requests
Independently perform work within guidelines and specific procedures
Support internal and client testing before go-live and during immediate post-production transition
Oversee and improve live processes
Contribute to Alpha Data product enhancements and requirements
Collaborate with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management, and IT teams
Share best practices, raise issues, and develop consistent global processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Industry knowledge and experience in Middle Office Operations, Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Performance & Analytics, etc. is advantageous
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision making
SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with databases/data warehouses is nice to have
University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent
Typically 3–5 years of industry experience across Financial Services or Data fields
Good knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors
Good knowledge of financial instruments from a static data perspective
Strong technical skills, including SQL, database design, and multiple systems flow
Experience reviewing Data Quality Controls using SQL and financial instruments knowledge
Experience leading meetings involving IT, Middle Office, Data Operations, and Implementation divisions
Familiarity with Agile methodology and related tools (JIRA, Rally, RTC) is a plus
Strong team ethics and team-player orientation
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
