About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, and maintain Transaction Services platforms as a member of an agile scrum team
Independently develop, test, and debug software enhancements and solutions
Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications, and projects using cloud computing, Java, SQL, Spring Boot, and ReactJS or equivalent frameworks
Write unit and automation tests
Participate in code reviews
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions
Work with multiple teams in various locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–2 years of commercial software development experience
Proficient in developing multi-tier solutions
Extensive Java n-tier application experience
Programming skills
ReactJS or equivalent frameworks
Cloud computing experience; Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWS
SQL
Experience in microservices architecture is highly desirable
Understanding of cloud computing is highly desirable
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
Knowledge of commercial software development
Professional Java development experience, including Core Java and multithreading
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector
Math background is highly desirable
Ability to work collaboratively with peers
Experience with Agile development methodology is desired
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions
Strong communication, self-motivation, attention to detail, and responsibility
Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and locations
Ability to work standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8am to 5pm)
