About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Transaction Services platforms
Develop, test, and debug software enhancements and solutions
Implement software programs, applications, and projects using cloud computing, Java, SQL, Spring Boot, and ReactJS or equivalent frameworks
Write unit and automation tests
Participate in code reviews
Participate in Agile Scrum activities, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions
Work independently within business and technical problem domains

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–2 years of commercial software development experience
Proficiency developing multi-tier solutions
Extensive Java n-tier application experience
Programming skills
ReactJS or equivalent frameworks
Cloud computing experience; Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWS
SQL
Experience in microservices architecture and understanding of cloud computing highly desirable
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
Professional Java development experience, including Core Java and multithreading
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector
Ability to work collaboratively with peers and multiple teams
Agile development methodology experience desired
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions
Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8am to 5pm)
