About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Transaction Management platform
Develop, test, and debug software enhancements and solutions
Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications, and projects using cloud computing, Java, and related software engineering languages
Write unit and automation tests
Participate in code reviews
Participate in Agile Scrum activities, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions
Collaborate with multiple teams in various locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of commercial software development experience
Proficiency developing complex Java and UI solutions
Experience with Java technologies, ReactJS, AngularJS, and SQL development
Basic understanding of REST API and object-oriented programming using Java
Basic understanding of messaging platforms such as Kafka and MQ
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
Professional Java development experience, including core Java and multithreading
Experience with Agile development methodology desired
Experience with XML/JSON object structures
Hands-on experience with development IDEs such as Eclipse, debugging code, deploying, and testing local projects
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
Ability to work onsite 3 days a week in the office and remotely 1 day a week
Availability during standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8am to 5pm)
