About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent the ADS organization to client Chief Data Architects and data teams throughout the Alpha journey and adoption
Provide thought leadership during pre-contract due diligence and the full implementation journey
Own end-to-end solutioning of Front-to-Back Alpha Data Platform and ADS solutions
Support pre-contract due diligence and client presentations
Document target data solution architecture and future-state operating model for data services
Lead solution design, environment setup, custom component development, go-live activities, and post-go-live hypercare support
Manage data solutioning and shared ownership of at least one large client implementation or multiple medium-to-small implementations concurrently
Collaborate with State Street application and system owners to integrate into ADP using the standard model
Design and execute process engineering for data flows from multiple sources to the target client consumption layer
Identify ADP product and data service gaps and develop interim or tactical solutions with Product and Service Practice managers
Partner with State Street application and service owners on extensions to standard services and bespoke data solutions
Support defect resolution by identifying root causes and ensuring data defects are fixed
Collaborate with GTS, SaaS Ops, Alpha Cloud Ops, Alpha Platform Engineering, Alpha Product, ADS Implementation, Alpha Data Ops, clients, and other technical and business teams
Align implementation activities with Client Implementation Executives and Leads
Contribute to standard operating procedures and ensure their adoption, including bespoke client processes
Engage L2/L4 Support teams to ensure appropriate coverage
Collaborate with external vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI, FactSet, and Axioma

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in computer science, data management, or another financial services technical field
15+ years in data management, data architecture, product and market data roles and responsibilities
Hands-on experience with ETL, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, data quality rules, and data-readiness design and implementation of data platforms
Experience designing and implementing relational data models for audit, time series, complex relationships, and high-volume data sets
Experience and understanding of system performance and profiling techniques for complex data models
Extensive experience with financial services data domains including Security Master, Entity Master, Benchmarks, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance, Analytics, and ESG
Knowledge of data management, data governance, service catalogue, data lineage tools, operational dashboards, and process monitoring tools
Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms with Snowflake and Databricks is a plus
Knowledge of internal and external integrations, issue triage, and solutions to data problems and anomalies
Experience or knowledge applying machine learning and AI in data management within financial services is a plus
Prior experience with State Street and Charles River Development (CRD), BlackRock Aladdin, or other OMS is a plus
Excellent communication skills across all channels and levels, including C-suite
Ability to rationalize problems and use judgment and innovation to define clear and concise solutions
