About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and approve financial promotions across multiple brands, products, and distribution channels
Provide second-line compliance advice, guidance, and challenge to Marketing and Partnerships teams
Review promotional materials including TV, radio, print, websites, paid advertising, social media, emails, and customer communications
Ensure promotional content complies with FCA regulations, advertising standards, internal policies, and Consumer Duty requirements
Support reviews of financial promotions relating to appointed representatives and commercial partners
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve compliance concerns and ensure promotions are clear, fair, and not misleading
Deliver timely approvals to support campaign launches and business deadlines
Work with the wider Regulatory Compliance Team on projects and initiatives as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years' experience in a second-line compliance role within financial services, ideally insurance
Significant practical experience reviewing and approving financial promotions
Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, particularly Consumer Duty and ICOBS
Knowledge of relevant advertising standards
Good understanding of marketing compliance, including data protection and PECR requirements
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify regulatory risks
Confidence challenging, influencing, and advising stakeholders at all levels
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly and practically
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver approvals within tight deadlines
Availability immediately or at short notice preferred
Ability to work hybrid, up to once per month in the Northampton office
