About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the data architecture for physician sourcing/matching, client onboarding, PC-MSO structures, and billing state
Build and harden integrations between CRM, e-sign/DocuSign, scheduling, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and the datastore
Replace manual operations work with observable, trustworthy automations and AI agents
Build lightweight internal tools and serviceable client-facing UIs
Translate ambiguous operational needs into scoped, shipped, production-owned solutions
Monitor, fix, document, and maintain systems
Instrument business pipelines and metric/dashboard definitions
Establish a documented data model and integrations as a trusted source of truth
Deliver automations or agents that reduce recurring manual effort
Deliver internal tools used daily by operations
Ensure systems are documented and observable for teammates to run and extend

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building and shipping production backend / data / integration systems, with real ownership
Strong data modeling and systems design skills
Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, authentication, rate limits, and syncing-system failure modes
Pragmatic approach to scoping and shipping right-sized solutions
Ability to work independently across a timezone offset
Excellent written communication in English
Experience using AI to build software and agents, with accountability for shipped work
Ability to handle healthcare-adjacent PII and legal documents carefully
Several hours of daily overlap with US working hours is a bonus
Experience building internal tooling, automations, or AI agents is a bonus
Healthcare, fintech, legal-tech, compliance-heavy, or operationally intensive domain experience is a bonus
Full-stack capability to build a serviceable UI is a bonus
First/founding engineer experience or experience setting up systems from scratch is a bonus
