About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with development teams to implement infrastructure changes for new services, features, and code changes, from repository to load balancer
  • Develop and evolve Terraform modules and patterns across environments
  • Expand self-service infrastructure provisioning using cloud services and automation
  • Maintain and automate CI/CD pipelines to improve build and software delivery speed, reliability, and security
  • Maintain build, development, staging, and production environments
  • Diagnose build and runtime issues across the stack
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and harden infrastructure
  • Document infrastructure and processes so the team can scale
  • Help build and expand Tereina’s cloud infrastructure environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or site reliability engineering
  • Hands-on experience automating GCP, AWS, or Azure environments with Terraform across common cloud services
  • Experience automating build pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, or similar
  • Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and cloud and data center networking
  • Fluent use of modern AI assistants, such as Claude Code or similar, to diagnose Java/Gradle issues at build and runtime
  • Comfortable working directly with development teams to translate needs into reliable infrastructure
  • Enthusiastic desire to learn quickly and take on more ownership
  • Experience with GCP, including Cloud Build and Google Kubernetes Engine (preferred)
  • Experience building and operationalizing Java, Go, Python, and/or Node services from repository to load balancer (preferred)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads (preferred)
  • Experience working with global development and operations teams (preferred)
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
