About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support identification, tracking, distribution, and management of new business opportunities across the UK business
  • Maintain key sourcing portals, monitor alerts, manage user access, and coordinate timely, compliant proposal submissions
  • Monitor external portals, opportunity alerts, and inboxes; triage and distribute relevant opportunities within 24 hours
  • Maintain data integrity across the Opportunities Tracker, EOI/PIN Tracker, and Pipeline Tracker
  • Follow up on outcomes, resolve data discrepancies, and support decision-making on opportunities over £100k
  • Maintain the company framework tracker and track renewal/rate update cycles
  • Log active projects and collaborate with Finance to process rebate claims
  • Process newly registered proposals and Project Information Documents via Agresso
  • Log proposal outcomes and prepare weekly IBBM reports for executive review
  • Capture client feedback post-bid
  • Deliver system training to internal colleagues
  • Explore AI/automation tools to improve monitoring and workflow tracking
  • Provide team coverage during peak periods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Transport/Infrastructure Planning, or a related field
  • Exceptional record-keeping skills and meticulous data accuracy across multiple tracking systems, ERPs (e.g., Agresso), and shared drives
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence interfacing with senior stakeholders, translating technical requirements, delivering training, and sharing executive reports
  • Proven ability to manage recurring workflows, prioritize tight deadlines, and follow up on outstanding decisions or missing data
  • Ability to identify process bottlenecks, investigate system-error root causes, and propose practical improvements
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across consultancy, finance, and business development teams
  • Solid end-to-end bid lifecycle background, ideally in a smaller or fast-paced organization
  • Prior experience navigating UK/international public sector procurement portals and early market engagement notices (EOIs/PINs)
  • Hands-on experience using Agresso or similar ERP platforms
  • Interest in leveraging AI/automation tools
  • Secondary language skills are a bonus but not essential
