  • Participate in onboarding activities and personal development planning
  • Learn about Steer, its work and culture
  • Work with senior colleagues through mentoring to develop skills
  • Work with a dedicated buddy during the transition into Steer
  • Receive career coaching and progression support from a career development manager and programme sponsor
  • Contribute to strategies, policies, masterplans, transport infrastructure and services, and financial and advisory work for clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educated to degree level; all subjects considered
  • Preferably a quantification or research element included, although this is not essential
  • Open to students of all academic disciplines
  • Particular interest in Geography, Transport, Mathematics, Statistics, Design, Engineering, Economics, Politics and related fields
  • Good academic background
  • Strong people and organisation skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Applicants must submit a CV and complete a short online application form
  • Applicants must complete the required assessments by 23:59pm on Thursday 22 October
  • Assessment responses and application materials must be the applicant's own work
