About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver the full range of consultancy work
- Develop consultancy skills through on-the-job learning and a structured development and mentoring programme
- Collaborate with industry experts on complex problems across Steer’s sectors during the first 18 months
- Participate in formal classroom training and induction sessions
- Rotate across practices to broaden knowledge, skills and experience
- Complete personalised development in industry knowledge, core consultancy skills, technical training, project management and business skills
- Participate in onboarding activities and personal development planning
- Learn about Steer, its work and culture
- Work with senior colleagues through mentoring
- Receive support from a dedicated buddy, career development manager and programme sponsor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Educated to degree level; all subjects considered
- Preferably a quantification or research element included, although this isn’t essential
- Open to students of all academic disciplines
- Particular interest in Geography, Transport, Mathematics, Statistics, Design, Engineering, Economics, Politics and related fields
- Good academic background
- Strong people and organisation skills
- High level of commercial acumen
