About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Map and diagnose finance and accounting processes, identifying manual steps, data-entry points, and structural gaps that block automation.
Redesign processes to be automation-ready by simplifying decision logic, standardizing inputs, and removing unnecessary manual handoffs.
Design, build, and deploy automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Dataverse.
Build ETL/data-preparation pipelines and structure, clean, and model finance data for automated logic and AI models.
Build DAX-based data models with calculated columns, measures, and relationships to drive thresholds, routing rules, validation checks, and workflow decisioning.
Create reusable data models and transformation logic that scale across finance processes.
Establish exception-handling, validation, and control logic to maintain auditability and compliance.
Pilot, test, iterate, and measure automation impact with process owners.
Maintain and prioritize the Finance Shared Services Center automation backlog.
Partner with IT and data teams on source access, integration, and governance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience or certifications in AI/automation will be considered.
Strong data transformation and modeling skills, including designing data structures/schemas and building ETL/data-prep logic.
Proficiency in DAX for measures, calculated columns, relationships, and automated decisioning.
Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio/AI Builder, and Dataverse, or strong ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience with Power Query, SQL, or similar structural/pipeline-level data tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, or equivalent) or AI/data certification.
Preferred: SQL or Python experience complementing DAX.
Preferred: shared services, finance transformation, or automation/RPA experience.
Preferred: multinational or telecommunications environment experience.
