About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary Salesforce administrator for users, security, permissions, data quality, reports, and dashboards
- Build and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, Flows, and automation
- Own tickets from intake to closure and identify business needs or root causes
- Help review and prioritize incoming IT requests
- Support integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, marketing platforms, and eCommerce
- Lead enhancements through requirements, testing, deployment, documentation, and adoption
- Keep stakeholders informed about scope, timing, progress, and risks
- Identify recurring problems and resolve them at the source
- Create documentation, SOPs, and user guides
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Boston-based colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, ideally supporting a B2B sales organization
- Proven experience designing and building Salesforce Flows independently, beyond simple record updates
- Strong skills in user management, security, reporting, objects, and validation rules
- Experience working in a ticketing or structured request environment
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across applications, data, and integrations
- Business analysis instincts and ability to turn needs into practical solutions
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organization and follow-through in a fast-moving environment
- Salesforce Certified Administrator credential is preferred
- Additional Salesforce certifications and experience with NetSuite, Shopify, or integration platforms are nice to have
- Ability to work US Eastern hours (night shift)
- Application must include a 2–3 sentence note describing a Salesforce Flow built, the problem it solved, and the approach taken
